This warm and exciting educational environment features a hands-on, experiential approach to learning. This enables the student to move from simple to complex tasks and from concrete to abstract ideas, whether in math, science, language or any other area. Montessori materials from all curricular areas are used in more depth and greater understanding than in previous years. At Adamas Kids, the skills that have been honed in the Nursery programme are allowed to go through experimenting with the next level of learning, where pre-learnt concepts meet application in the LKG programme. In addition to plenty of constructive and joyful activities, the LKG curriculum also includes a second language.

SKG

SKG—Senior Kindergarten

4–5 years of age
This SKG (Senior Kindergarten) programme level organises developmentally appropriate activities into many lessons and sessions designed to accomplish readiness as well as further strengthen the children’s self-confidence and self-esteem. Our children get the opportunity to explore each lesson and learning session with the other children in SKG. Teachers encourage readiness to learn and question—utilization of the children’s developing sense of responsibility and their interest in play, construction and simple games. Memory development, visual discrimination, safety rules and a sense of security are also important areas of development for a child in SKG. It focuses on orienting the child to develop self-confidence and honesty.
